Sheree Wooten tells Huckabee how she has used boxing gloves to FIGHT cancer. Huck's Hero Sheree Wooten created an incredible organization, "My Knockout," to give hope to the hopeless.

After Sheree Wooten of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, received the devastating news in early spring 2004 that her mother, Gerrell Craig, had Liposarcoma. After surgery to remove a tumor the size of a small nerf football, doctors warned that if it came back, it would come with a vengeance, which it did the following spring.

My Knockout became an important part of her mother’s life. Having decided to forego chemo treatments to live what time she had with as much quality of life that she could, she focused on our boxing gloves project. The day before she left for that final trip home, the first replica of the gloves arrived, and Sheree's mother was ecstatic to see her project come to life. Through the gloves, she left a legacy that touched and inspired everyone who saw them.

Shimshi was born 1979 in Tel-Aviv, Israel. His first performance as a magician was at age 13. After 7 years of performing Magic in Israel, Shimshi moved to America and pursued his lifelong dream to perform in Las Vegas.  In 2004, Shimshi got a phone call requesting him to be the House Magician for the Mirage Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. After a two-year run at the Mirage, he spent a year performing his fresh, cutting-edge magic at the World’s Greatest Magic show at the Sahara Casino and then the “V” Show at the Planet Hollywood Resort. Shimshi’s magic has taken him around the world- from Princess Grace Theatre in Monaco to the Winter Garden Theater in Berlin Germany, across Europe and Asia.  He has also appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Regis and Kelly, Master of Illusions, and was the last magician standing on America’s Got Talent.

Earlier this week, Tennessee State House Republicans overwhelmingly passed a bill to ban gender-transition procedures on minors. In the next week, that bill is expected to become law. William Lamberth is Tennessee State House Majority Leader who introduced the legislation-- he says no child should ever have to be in the position of making permanent, life-altering decisions to disfigure their bodies-- and the state shouldn't support it, or allow it. Stefanie Zaenker is the Strategic Director of the LIBRE Initiative Georgia, a non-partisan non-profit organization focused on empowering the Latino community to achieve their American Dream. She was raised in Charlottesville, Virginia by a Guatemalan mother and German father, both immigrants, so she is first generation American and speaks both Spanish and German. After graduating from the College of William and Mary in Virginia she spent 16 years in the Washington DC metro area bartending and managing at the 9:30 Club in DC, and also touring the country as a heavy metal drummer with her band and other bands as a contracted musician.

She found her way into politics after a growing discontent with the direction our country was headed in and a serendipitous offer from a friend to work on his colleague’s Republican congressional campaign. After working on that campaign and others in Maryland which garnered national attention, and becoming ensconced in Maryland political organizations and groups, she decided to channel her newly found energy and enthusiasm for saving our country into a full-time career. A major life shift brought her to Georgia where she now works passionately alongside the Latino community to empower their families and businesses to prosper. In her free time she enjoys playing drums, outdoor adventures, reading, attending community events, and roasting coffee.
