BACON WRAPPED DATES
Ingredients:
● Pitted Medjool Dates ● Chorizo
● Thin Sliced Bacon
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with foil.
Cut bacon slices in half and set aside.
Cook chorizo in a skillet over medium-high heat for 5-6 minutes. Stir often and break any large chunks into smaller ones. Drain chorizo, and let it cool for 10 minutes.
Once the chorizo is cool, stuff the dates. Wrap each date in half a strip of bacon and secure with a toothpick. Place finished dates on foil-lined baking sheet.
Bake 20-25 minutes, turning the dates over halfway through to cook bacon evenly. Serve warm or at room temperature.
